Bringing an End to Factory Farming

Factory farming inflicts immense suffering on a staggering scale. Approximately five times more animals are factory farmed annually than humans who have ever lived. Yet efforts to reform and replace factory farming receive just 0.04% of global philanthropy.

Despite this, the movement is winning on some important fronts. More than 500 million hens no longer live in battery cages. Over 3,000 companies, including many of the world's largest food brands, have pledged to move away from the most severe forms of confinement. A quarter of Americans now live in states where it is a crime to sell eggs from caged animals. But progress is not guaranteed, and gains can be rolled back if we don’t maintain momentum.

We’ve reached an important inflection point where additional resources could translate directly into millions more animals spared. Your gift today helps make these wins possible.
100% of your donation will go directly to efforts to end the use of cruel cages for egg-laying hens. The Navigation Fund does not retain any portion.
